No more, "I want us, to talk“ …
No more, the loaded with guilt, excuses for breaking up.
No more tearful goodbyes and setbacks.
The new trend in separations is “Ghosting”, as it has come to be known, as an option to disappear in a day, from the other half, without being given any explanation!
The generation of Millennials, in which belong all those born from 1980 to 2000, prefers to terminate a relationship with the technique “Ghosting after … engagement” (only any formal engagement in this case is completely … unnecessary, as the “engagement”, has taken place already, usually in the back sit of a car…), leaving the other partner wondering, in vain what exactly went wrong.
This was concluded, from a recent poll, conducted by “Plenty of Fish” social application, between 800 singles in US and Canada, of which 80% (!!!!) responded that they have been the victim of "Ghosting."
The proliferation of dating apps, undoubtedly put their hand in this new trend!
"As it is so easy to meet someone, that you like, it is as easy, or even easier to do just ... Ghosting…" said characteristically an anonymous user, of dating applications and “Ghosting” supporter.
In fact, according to the poll, women are the majority of the victims of this practice, but also, they are the perpetrators.
